Update on the Revolution

Well, this revolution is getting attention. Some seem to be taking things personally. Obviously, revolution is not for everyone. But for me, this is the life I seek. If you haven't seen Supersize Me!, I encourage you to do it. We just live in a world that does not reward goodness, at least not as much as it should be. Think about it: of all of the television shows that are on these days, how many, especialyl reality shows, reward kindness, fairness, love, sacrifice, honor, integrity, purity, beauty (the real kind, not the silicon and plastic kind), and selflessness? I can think of only one: ABC's Extreme Makeover, Home Edition. Now obviously there are corporate sponsors who are benefitting from this whole experience, but ultimately, people's lives are being change in a positive way, and a positive message is being made. It's rather refreshing.
Anyway, I am looking into starting an extreme outdoor outfitting company because I love the outdoors. Being out in nature makes me feel at ease. And I'm not tree hugger, wind kisser, or posey sniffer, but I just love the outdoors. I'll keep you all updated- all three of you! haha!

The Revolution Step 1

The Revolution is beginning. People are beginning to sense the freedom and honesty if it and it is contagious! This is not some small idea that is sparked and then extiguished. It will light the world up in an instant!
I will begin a business that is both successful and soulful at the same time. We do not have to dehumanize people to create something succesful. Human beings were not meant to spend their entire lives working in cubicles creating meaningless and worthless crap. They were not meant to dread their own existence. They were not meant to long only for two days per week.
No, I will start something that people will love to do. I will start a company that each and every employee feels that they have a stake in, because they will.
And this will be no pyramid or get-rich-quick scheme. No, you will be buying into your own life. There are no guarantees except that you will get what you put in. You will reap what you sow.
It's a whole new world.

Start a revolution

OK, the business world blows. So I want to start a business. I want to start a business that has a main purpose of providing a meaningful experience for all who encounter it, whether it is the owners, employees, or clients. I want a business that brings out the best in people. Brings hope to those who work for it. Brings something good into the world. Starts a revolution.
A revolution where people look forward to going to work. Where business does not come before family. Where work is no longer work, it's living.
I want to start a business that does not screw over its employees after thirty years on the job. I want to start a responsible business: one that is ethical and moral.
I am going to start this business and there will be no creeps, idiots, assholes, bitches, snobs, jackasses, or morons working for me.
So if you're one of the above- don't bother. If you're not, and you're interested, let me know. As for what kind of business, it really does not matter. Advertising is what I do now, but it does not have to be what I keep doing.

Month in Review

Well, a lot of things have happened in the past month. My internship has gone ok, but has taken some real downturns in the past week or so. The "business" side has shown itself and it's not good-looking.
School is going alright, but thingsare starting to pile up. I'm not behind, but it's going to get a little tougher to stay ahead. Hopefully I can get a big head start this weekend on some things.
Personally, I need sleep. I've been tired this whole week. Yesterday, I slept in and went to class and then work. I don't know what it is.
I'll post again later.
