Week in review

I started my internship this week. It's an advertising agency that is small, but still has some big clients and stays pretty busy. They've definitely kept me busy. I've been writing the copy for a website, conducting a survey, and researching and creating a pitch to go after the packaging market in the area. All in the first week. It's much better than a coffee and trash internship.
My eye is back to twitching again. I should probably go see a doctor about that.
My roommate is pretty cool. He cleans up after himself, so that's cool. I finally got a weekend off this weekend. I spent at least four hours cleaning, washing, and waxing my car. I actually got to hand wash and wax it. I know that seems like a lot, and really- it probably is. But it was just relaxing to be able to focus on one thing for such a period of time. And it was nice outside, so it was all the more relaxing. Not to mention the fact that now I can drive around in a new and pristine car! Few things better!
I've been keeping up with my schoolwork and trying to get ahead of things. I've already started working on my portfolio. I hope that works out alright. I might end up looking for a website writing program that may be easier to use than Frontpage- if one exists.
Hurricanes keep hitting Florida and I worry about the family. They went three days without power from Frances.
Social life isn't much to speak of. Still hanging out with Crystal every now and then. I had a great time with Char and Laura lately. Between the time with Jenna and with Gonca, we did some pretty decent drinking in one weekend. Patio party was a lot of fun. Should do that on a frequent basis to keep relaxed.
