From Iraq
Well, I have been here for about two weeks. Things aren't bad at all. I am relatively safe and basically just do my job: work on helicopters. It seems a little senseless to bring me here for such a short time, but I know that God has his plans and as long as I do what I'm supposed to, I will be fine.
The guys are doing well. Everyone is in pretty decent spirits. Obviously there are people who aren't too happy, but then with the end of the deployment so near, it's easy to just look past everything and just be glad you'll be home soon. So I think most people are looking forward to being home.
Things back home are going fairly well. There's always the little annoying thing like an online bill not going through and having to spend 40 minutes of your phone time trying to hash things out with automated phone services before you can finally talk to a human being who helps you fix things in 5 minutes.
Julianna, the love of my life, is doing well. She starts art school in a couple of weeks and she's "wicked stoked" about it! LOL. She's been doing all kinds of art projects which I can't wait to see when I get back. I can't wait to see her when I get back!
Well, I hope everyone is doing well. Especially you, Crys since you're the only one who really checks this! LOL
See you all soon
